Yes. We tow Teslas across the metro, every model, on flatbed only. We are not a Tesla-authorized partner, but we follow Tesla's published towing specification: flatbed transport, Transport Mode engaged, wheels in their original travel direction. If you have Tesla Roadside coverage and you want to use it first, call them - they often dispatch us anyway in this market. If you call us direct, you skip the queue.

No. Tesla's owner manual states clearly that wheel-lift towing or flat-bed-with-front-or-rear-wheels-down can damage the drive unit motors, even over short distances. We refuse wheel-lift on EVs as a matter of policy. Any operator who offers it is either misinformed or willing to let you eat the repair bill.

Touchscreen → Service → Towing → tap and hold "Transport Mode" until the message appears. The car will roll freely with no regen, no auto-park, no parking-pawl engagement. If the 12V battery is dead, Transport Mode is unavailable and we use Tesla's manual procedure to free the wheels. Our dispatcher walks you through both paths when you call.

Common problem, and Florida heat makes it more common - the 12V battery in a Tesla can die independently of the main pack, especially after the car sits for hours of direct sun in a theme-park or hotel lot. We can jump the 12V on scene for many models (it lives in the frunk on Model 3/Y and behind the rear seat on Model S/X), often skipping the tow entirely. If the 12V jump does not bring the car back, we flatbed it to your service center.

We route based on the issue, the service center's published wait times, and your preference. If your car is under warranty and Tesla Roadside is paying, they typically dictate the destination.

Rivian R1T and R1S, Lucid Air, Mustang Mach-E, Ford F-150 Lightning, Hummer EV, GMC Sierra EV, Volkswagen ID.4, Chevy Bolt and Blazer EV, BMW iX and i4, Kia EV6 and EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6, Polestar 2, and any plug-in hybrid. Same flatbed-only rule applies across the board. Cybertruck transport runs slightly higher because of curb weight and approach-angle constraints.
